Legrand unveils Energy Management handbook and Project Evaluation tool
January 2, 2013 - Legrand is sharing its approach to improving energy performance with two new sustainability tools—an Energy Management handbook and Project Evaluation tool. Users can visit the Sustainability section of the Legrand website to use the tools to start their own sustainability program or upgrade an existing program. The 16-page Energy Management handbook outlines a four-step process to launching an energy management program: making a commitment; assessing your current state of energy use; creating an action plan; and reporting and evaluating progress. The Project Evaluation tool captures standard cost metrics and also includes factors such as energy consumption, renewable energy credits, and non-financial considerations.
