EfficiencyOne seeking delivery organization for HomeWarming service

April 16 - Nova Scotia’s EfficiencyOne is seeking a delivery agent or agents to manage all aspects of its non-electric HomeWarming service. The service focuses on building envelope upgrades that increase the energy efficiency of a home, at no cost to participants.

HomeWarming includes conducting home energy assessments (before and after upgrades occur) and performing upgrades such as insulation, draft proofing and associated modifications to the home to maintain comfort and occupant health. The service is open to various housing types, including single detached, mobile/mini homes, duplex, etc., as long as the residence is owned and occupied by an income qualified household.

EfficiencyOne issued the request for proposals to find an agent that has the “flexibility to change with the needs of the HomeWarming service as it evolves, while maintaining a focus on achieving the objectives of the HomeWarming service and the associated participant targets.”

Interested parties are asked to complete the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) template, then sign and submit it along with a request for a copy of the HomeWarming – Service Delivery Organizations RFP documents to procurement@efficiencyns.ca.

RFP intent to respond forms are due May 29 with full responses due on June 12. The contract s expected to be awarded around Sept. 30.
