Eligible companies can receive financial incentives worth up to 50% of project costs toward modernizing current systems with high-efficiency equipment.

October 22, 2014 - Hydro Ottawa and United Way Ottawa have announced funding for 10 agencies—serving people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness—to make needed capital improvements to cut their energy use. The goal is to reduce an agency’s operating costs so that more dollars can be directed into programs for people in need, said the utility.

October 16, 2014 - The Residential Direct Installation of Efficient Products Program involves the installation of low-cost energy efficiency products in Nova Scotia residences at no cost to the participant, and Efficiency Nova Scotia has issued an RFP for the purpose of selecting various Delivery Agents (DAs) that will implement, manage and deliver the Program.
