Venstar expands Canadian distribution through Trane Canada Co. agreement
May 26, 2011 - Venstar, a thermostat and energy management systems supplier, has expanded its Canadian availability of its HVAC systems, including its thermostats and accessories, in an exclusive distribution agreement with Trane Canada Co.

Among the Venstar thermostat products being distributed by Trane Canada are:
• ColorTouch Touchscreen Thermostat (residential): a multi-functional, programmable touch screen thermostat that has customizable backgrounds, including the users’ own photos, and more than a dozen preset themes, including holiday themes. It is compatible with “virtually every type” of heating and air conditioning system, and can be configured to display text in English, French or Spanish.
• ColorTouch Touchscreen Thermostat (commercial): a multi-functional touch screen thermostat designed for commercial installations. Users can display their business logos, advertisements or promotions on their thermostat screens as a slideshow screensaver or background wallpaper.
• Slimline Family of Thermostats, including: Slimline Platinum (model T2900), SchoolStat‚(model T2900SCH), ComfortCall, and EZStat.
