WAC unveils Aether recessed LED fixture
February 27, 2019 – WAC Lighting’s Aether is a 2-in. recessed downlight with a shallow-profile LED housing, designed to fit in very tight plenum spaces without compromising lumen output or glare control.

The 15-W luminaire can accommodate ceilings 0.5 to 1 in. thick in commercial, hospitality, residential and other indoor and covered outdoor environments, whether for general, accent or wall-wash lighting applications. It can be vertically and horizontally adjusted and is available in round or square formats, with trim or trimless and in a variety of finishes.
The downlight reportedly delivers up to 1,405 lumens and a correlated colour temperature (CCT) ranging from 2,700 to 4,000 K. Its 120 to 277-V driver dims to 5% and the LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours.
