American Electric Lighting unveils ACP LED floodlights

March 26, 2014 - Acuity Brands has launched its ACP series of LED floodlights from American Electric Lighting, which claim to save up to 60% in energy costs while cutting maintenance by up to 50% compared to metal halide floodlights. ACP1LED medium luminaires are available with 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 chip-on-board (COB) modules and can replace conventional 100W to 400W floods, while ACP2LED large luminaires are offered with 7, 8 or 9 COB modules and can replace 400W to 1000W floods. Both models feature 4000K or 5000K correlated colour temperature (CCT), colour rendering index (CRI) of 70, and IP66 engine rating. Other options include bolted or latched door, wire or vandal guard, and visors.
