ASHRAE launches free terminology site ASHRAEwiki

July 10, 2012 - Need a dictionary for terms found in ASHRAE standards and other similar publications? ASHRAE has launched a free terminology website – ASHRAEwiki, www.ashraewiki.org – containing approximately 6,000 terms related to buildings, in particular energy use, mechanical, envelope, electrical, lighting and load calculations. According to ASHRAE, the ASHRAEwiki goal is to improve communication by encouraging the use of consistent terminology definitions within ASHRAE and the industry, worldwide. Terms are grouped by words, symbols, abbreviations and acronyms.
