Eligibility

Only Individuals or Teams can be nominated (or nominate themselves) for our flagship award: Energy Manager of the Year. Nominees can work in any sector (e.g. industrial, commercial, institutional, municipal).

Nominees could include:

  • An organization’s Energy Manager or Energy Management team.
  • Individual or team responsible for proactive energy management in an organization.
  • Third-party energy management consultant to organizations.

Nominators must explain how the Nominee’s efforts in proactive energy management, energy efficiency, or decarbonization are delivering beneficial, measurable results in their organizations and/or the community at large.

N.B. By submitting a nomination form, Nominators assure Energy Manager Canada of the accuracy of the information provided and, further, are in a position to provide this information to Energy Manager Canada free of further permissions. 2025 entries cannot be repeats of 2024 Winners or Honourable Mentions. Nominations close August 29, 2025.
