Dymo’s CardScan Device reduces clutter, eliminates re-typing contact info

August 10, 2011 - A new family of CardScan devices by Dymo claims to make managing contact information – from business cards, websites and emails - fast, accurate and portable. CardScan Executive is designed for users with advanced contact management needs, it says. The user is instructed to place the business card in the device where it will capture contact data, and for online information, the user should highlight the email signature, web page or other text file and drag it over to the CardScan software. According to the company, the device synchronizes with Outlook, Mac Address Book, Lotus Notes, ACT!, GoldMine, Palm and Windows Mobile devices and scans in colour or monochrome.
