Carmichael opens new “operational net zero” office in Belleville

On the heels of celebrating the its 100th anniversary last year, Carmichael Engineering—a national commercial HVAC service, maintenance, design and installation organization—opened its first “operational net zero” branch office in Belleville, Ont. The company hosted a grand opening ceremony on November 21 with clients, city officials, friends, and employees past and present.


Bruce II Sports Centre to enjoy an approx. $3-million upgrade

The Bruce II Sports Centre in Channel-Port aux Basques, N.L., is receiving more than $2.9 million to both improve its energy efficiency and add electricity generation. The Government of Canada is spending $2,326,560 on this project through the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings (GICB) program, while the Town of Channel-Port aux Basques is contributing $581,640.
