This is a great opportunity for a motivated self-starter who can make a valuable contribution to a changing environment by assisting customers with the application process for saveONenergy programs, screening and reviewing applications, and making recommendations for approval and payment.

You will execute pre- and post-project QA/QC site visits, support and grow relationships with contractors, industry and stakeholders, assist in creating and delivering marketing initiatives, events and training, coordinate the delivery of programs with contractors and recommend process improvements.

We will look to you to research and document best practices from other jurisdictions with similar offerings, and develop innovative approaches to enhance current program offerings and increase participation. Your primary focus will be on consumer and small commercial business segments, specifically under the Peaksaver PLUS, Small Business Lighting, New Home Construction, and Home Assistance programs. Supporting Annual Report preparation and budget reconciliation will also be part of your role.

Your strong understanding of electrical theory, electromechanical systems, lighting systems, HVAC and building science is supported by a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Business, Environmental Studies or a technical discipline, or equivalent. A background in contract and/or project management is essential. Experience with an Ontario-based utility, the Ontario Power Authority or CDM programs would be an asset. You have intermediate MS Office skills, hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Interested? To become a valued member of our team, please forward your resume by February 15, 2013, to: careers@camhydro.com . When applying for the position, quote “Energy Efficiency Advisor” in the Subject line.
