Energy usage expert Don Colliver joins MEET Show 2024 lineup

October 20, 2023 – Organizers of The MEET Show 2024 announce the addition of Donald (Don) Colliver to its speaker lineup.

Colliver has been involved in the energy usage and efficiency of buildings for over 40 years, say organizers. He is professor in the Biosystems Engineering Department, formerly director of Graduate Studies in the BAE Department, and director of the Kentucky Industrial Assessment Center at the University of Kentucky.

He is a licensed professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Professionally, Colliver has conducted and managed research in energy usage in buildings and industrial facilities, solar energy, air infiltration and ventilation, building codes, and the analysis of climatological data for the determination of design weather conditions.

His team developed the first dehumidification design weather data that was published in the 1997 ASHRAE Handbook–Fundamentals.

The 25th edition of The MEET Show will be hosted at the Moncton Coliseum Complex, May 1-2, 2024. The event features close to 400 companies showcasing solutions in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and more across 100,000 square feet of space. The biennial event typically welcomes over 6000 attendees—including contractors, developers, engineers, architects, tradespeople, building managers, distributors, utilities.
