The biennial Behaviour, Energy & Climate Change (BECC) Conference will next be held November 2-5, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento.

This event focuses on understanding human behaviour and decision-making, and using that knowledge to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future. Attendees include researchers, decision-makers, practitioners, influencers, and energy service providers.

BECC typically includes more than 150 speakers from a variety of backgrounds and geographic regions presenting more than 40 sessions. The conference will consist of a mix of plenaries, concurrent presentations, panels, workshop-style sessions, social events, and more.

The conference is convened by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), California Institute for Energy and Environment (CIEE) within the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society at U.C. Berkeley, and the Environmental and Energy Policy Analysis Center (SEEPAC) at Stanford University.
