Former head of IBM Global Communications joins SCL Elements – Can2Go – board
SCL Elements Inc., manufacturer of Can2Go building automation solutions, welcomed Khalil Barsoum, formerly of IBM, to its board. With a career spanning 35 years with IBM, Barsoum served as general manager of IBM’s Global Communications Sector, president and CEO of IBM Canada and IBM United Kingdom, and a member of IBM’s Worldwide Management Council in New York.

“The addition of Mr. Barsoum to the board adds a significant new level of expertise and reach to our organization,” said Simon Leblond, president and CEO of SCL Elements. “We expect his insights to be invaluable; notably when it comes to empowering building automation with IT know-how.”
SCL says Barsoum brings an in-depth knowledge of the global IT industry, a keen interest in the cleantech sector, and a “proven track record of business development and management”. He previously served on the boards of CDP Capital Technologies, SMTC, Cartesis, Odyssey Financial Technologies, Coventree Capital Group, Coradiant and Xkoto.
