Increased voltage range for PowerLogic EM4800 multi-circuit energy meter from Schneider
October 22, 2011 - Schneider Electric’s Square D PowerLogic EM4800 multi-circuit energy meter (an evolution of the existing E4800) enables multi-tenant residential and commercial building managers to consistently meter individual tenants at a low installation cost-per-point, says the company, by combining accurate electricity submetering with communications technology. In addition, the PowerLogic EM4800 now operates over a larger voltage range, allowing for direct metering of 480Y/277vAC services requiring a potential transformer (PT). A new remote display increases the installation options for the meter. Designed for use in office towers, condominiums and shopping centres, the design of the EM4800 enables metering of up to 24 individual circuits, and can be applied in a variety of new and existing retrofit submetering applications.
