February 5, 2024 – Signify says it has applied “transformative concepts from its U.S. Department of Energy L-Prize-winning luminaire prototype” to develop the Ledalite BloomBox recessed LED lighting solution.
A 2 x 2-ft troffer with a small, housing-agnostic lighting module, the BloomBox promises high efficacy (170 lumens/W) and a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) >93. The solution’s optics deliver uniform light distribution with low glare, and allows for up to 14-ft spacing between luminaires.
Its replaceable lighting module and “click-and-clamp” assembly allows for easy repair and reuse of the solution. Ledalite BloomBox integrates with Signify’s Interact connected lighting software and sensor technology, supporting energy optimization with automatic light responses according to occupancy detection and daylight variation.
