New Guardian calculator evaluates comparative lighting costs

August 15, 2013 - Guardian Industries has launched a lighting performance calculator to help lighting system designers compare cost and performance data, such as fixture count and financial payback. Available at lightingcalculator.guardian.com, the free tool compares the benefits of high-performance glass and coating lens configurations for potential lighting projects. Users are asked to enter general project information, including:  fixture count, input and output, lumens, wattage, lens area, and fixture cost, installation, maintenance and operating hours. Results are summarized in data tables and available for customized report generation into PDF format when completed.
