Log up to 500,000 measurements with Onset HOBO kWh monitoring kit
November 8, 2013 - Onset has debuted its HOBO kWh monitoring kit, describing it as a low-cost, portable system for measuring and recording energy consumption in buildings. The new kit, which bundles a matchbox-sized HOBO State data logger with Continental Control System’s kWh and current sensors, promises energy engineers, auditors, building commissioners, and others a cost-effective way to log building electric use at a fraction of the cost of meter-based solutions. With Onset’s HOBOware software, users can log up to 500,000 single- or three-phase measurements running 240V to 480V and analyze the data on either a Windows or Mac platform. Additionally, the software features tools to let users pull their data files to text format for use in spreadsheets and other programs.
