Rytec Spiral high-speed door promises reduced energy loss
October 15, 2014 - With an opening speed of 60 in. per second, the Rytec Spiral high-speed door claims to minimize energy loss through the doorway, while maximizing traffic flow. According to the company, its high-speed operation controls the air exchange so less energy is required to maintain building temperature. A rubber membrane on the connecting hinges of the door’s aluminum slats promises to contain heating & cooling energy and preventing air infiltration.
