Tycon Power Systems TP-DCDC-1248M converters

Tycon Power Systems’ TP-DCDC-1248M accepts 9-36VDC on the wire terminal input and outputs 48VDC at 24W on the POE RJ45 output. The compact case is powder coat painted steel to meet the most stringent requirements, says the company.

“These rugged DCDC converters with built in POE inserter are being used in military vehicular applications to power 48VDC POE radio equipment,” said Scott Parsons, CEO of Tycon Power Systems. “There are many industrial and commercial applications that could benefit from this compact and rugged voltage converter.”

The DCDC-1248M offers protection for short circuits. The output is regulated within 5%. Low self consumption of less than 1W and greater than 75% efficiency make them ideal for portable power applications. Operating temperature range is from -30C to 60C. Alternative POE output voltages are available as well as an 802.3af compatible model. OEM and custom configurations are available upon request.
