Abbas Khan appointed president and GM of Carrier Sales and Distribution Canada

Robert McDonough, president of Residential & Commercial Systems North America for Carrier Corporation has announced the appointment of Abbas Khan as president and general manager of Carrier Sales and Distribution Canada.

Khan began his career in 1994 with Siemens Canada, where he held marketing and financial control functions, as well as logistics and unified distribution for different business units throughout his tenure with the company. He later became president of Osram Sylvania Ltd., a division of the Siemens AG global organization, where he had overall responsibility for Canadian sales, operations, and distribution and support functions in all channels.
Khan earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and Executive Development training from Babson Executive Education in Massachusetts.
He assumed his position at Carrier Canada in Mississauga on April 1, 2011.
