Bala Gnanam now BOMA Canada’s VP Sustainability, Advocacy & Stakeholder Relations

September 22, 2021 – BOMA Canada announced the appointment of Bala Gnanam as vice-president, Sustainability, Advocacy & Stakeholder Relations.

“Bala has been a trusted colleague and mentor since I joined BOMA Canada almost a decade ago,” said Benjamin Shinewald, president & CEO, BOMA Canada. “As we enter a new era and launch significant new projects, Bala’s leadership will help us drive BOMA Canada forward, and the members we represent, even more aggressively.”

Gnanam joins BOMA Canada from BOMA Toronto, where he served as vice-president, Energy, Environment & Advocacy.

For over 10 years, “Bala’s exceptional work with BOMA Toronto has not only driven commercial real estate’s sustainability outcomes, but also raised the bar with advocacy, thought leadership and programs like the race2reduce,” continues BOMA Canada.
