Facility managers can deploy Tyvek and Styrofoam together to enhance the building envelope. Insulation, permeable weather-resistive barriers, flashing, tapes and spray foams can also be used in different combinations to improve energy efficiency.
Among PBS products are: Froth-Pak foam sealant, which fills gaps to eliminated unwanted airflow; Thermax insulation; Tyvek DrainVent rain screens; Great Stuff insulating foam sealants, formulated to seal cracks to block moisture; and Tyvek Protec roofing underlayments.
