Eaton Pow-R-Command panelboard boasts 41% energy savings

March 12, 2014 - Eaton says its new Pow-R-Command intelligent panelboard was engineered to help industrial and commercial facilities maximize energy performance. By providing a range of lighting control, dimming and daylight harvesting capabilities, the new system claims to reduce heating, ventilation and air conditioning load requirements and lighting energy usage by up to 41%. To simplify scheduling and programming changes, a high-resolution colour touchscreen is located on the front panel of the device. The display provides a local means for system status data and override control. Pre-configured Web pages are also included to allow for schedule changes and system monitoring.
