Registration has opened for Alberta Energy Efficiency Alliance’s 2021 Alberta Energy Efficiency Summit, which is being conducted online May 18-19, 2021.

Some of the confirmed presentations include:

“Jobs in energy efficiency: a Nova Scotia growth industry” with Amelia Warren, EfficiencyOne.

“Energy efficiency as a resource: what’s lost if efficiency resources are not part of utility system management” with Chris Neme, Energy Futures Group.

“Introducing the Climate Innovation Fund with an update on 2021 programs and projects” with Mike Mellross, Alberta Ecotrust Foundation.

“Seizing the moment: the state of energy efficiency in 2021” with Corey Diamond, Efficiency Canada.

“Path to Action: a story of an integrated approach to climate, energy, training, and housing in remote Indigenous communities” with Karim Abraham, Kambo Energy Group.

“Environmental and economic benefits of building energy benchmarking” with Lisa Dockman and Marni Devlin Moses, City of Edmonton.

“A conversation about energy retrofit projects in Alberta: the art of the possible” with Stuart Galloway, Energy Services Association of Canada

“Technology is easy, the rest is hard: enabling energy efficiency through industry collaboration” with FortisAlberta.

“Hydrogen and the evolution of gas system efficiency” with Brodie Chalmers, ATCO.

Organizers say the summit will “leverage the latest technology available in virtual event platforms to ensure the event provides a valuable experience and time well spent”.
