Leviton announces VerifEye submetering solutions

April 5, 2013 - “With today’s ever-increasing energy costs, knowing where and how energy is used is mission-critical,” said Richard Westfall, Leviton VP and GM. The company has introduced its VerifEye submetering solutions, allowing users to track, monitor and verify real-time energy usage, as well as provide data for turnkey tenant billing. According to Leviton, longterm users can experience energy savings of 15% to 20%, adding that VerifEye simplify the complexities of allocating energy costs and billing tenants, while enabling smart metering and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) compliance requirements. The portfolio of VerifEye solutions includes submeters, communication products for data translation and software options for tenant billing or energy monitoring. VerifEye is suitable for installation in multi-tenant residential and commercial facilities, commercial offices, retail spaces and manufacturing facilities, and is UL Listed, cULus and ANSI C12.1 certified.
