Lithonia LED gimbal downlights promise 80% more efficiency

November 5, 2013 - Acuity Brands has introduced LED gimbal adjustable downlighting modules from Lithonia Lighting, which it says are 80% more efficient than comparable 50W and 65W incandescent luminaires. Currently available in 4-in, 5-in and 6-in, the modules are adjustable with more than a 35° tilt in both directions and feature a 180° rotation to suit a variety of residential and commercial buildings. The LED downlighting modules are compatible with different voltage dimmers, and come standard in white, black, oil-rubbed bronze and brushed nickel-finishes.
