New LED line of work lights delivers safety, savings & innovation

Burlington, ON —  Hamsar, well-known manufacturer of lighting and electronic products for the global market, has introduced new line extensions to its Model XWL-800 line of work lights featuring the latest LED technology.

The XWL-800 LED line includes a standard LED Work Light with an 8 or 10 LED configuration, a brighter High Output model with 1900 Lumens — making it 50 per cent brighter than the original, a combination Work Light with integrated Flashing Amber warning light and a High Output Marine model with stainless steel mounting hardware. Two further additions to the line include a High Output work light with Chrome-Plated housing and the 3-3/4” diameter XWL-810, a model designed to suit the need for small-fit applications. Every light in the line up is available with a choice of four different
beam patterns — spot, wide flood, medium flood and a hybrid combination of spot and flood pattern.

“The benefits of LED continue to gain momentum in every market we service” says Hamsar’s Managing Director, James Scott. “Every one of these lights delivers a host of advantages over traditional halogen equivalents, which makes them highly functional for a variety of uses in a wide range of industries. They last much longer than halogen and they draw far less power. They can withstand the most demanding working environments and the kind of natural daylight they generate creates a better and safer work situation. All of these factors can make a real difference to the bottom line, because their long life reduces operating and maintenance costs”.

Hamsar has developed a reputation for innovation in design and this new line of work lights is no different. Every light features an additional benefit for users — their multi-mount capability. “During the design and development stage, we knew that to make it top notch meant satisfying all the mounting configurations it might be subjected to without losing optimum performance”, continues Scott. “All models incorporate a unique mounting system that provides multiple mounting options.  The bracket is designed to allow the user to adjust the lamp through 30 degrees.  The combination of these two unique features makes it easy for the user to get the light where it’s needed.  We plan to continue to extend the range with the addition of further SKU’s that will enhance where and how these lights can be used.”

“The CE approvals are in place and the line has been given an IP68 rating, so we’re moving forward to gain additional traction internationally,” notes Scott. "We’ve already established distribution in Australia with NARVA and we’re working with Ring Automotive in England to introduce these lights in the UK. We are continuing our efforts to secure additional distributors in other international markets”.
