OPA announces new Vice-President

 

Andrew Pride will be joining the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) in the role of Vice-President, Conservation, effective November 1, 2010, according to an OPA news release.

Pride holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo. After graduating, he focused his career on energy services and energy management. About 11 years ago, he joined the Minto organization. While at Minto, says the OPA Pride was instrumental in promoting a culture of conservation and in transforming Minto into an internationally recognized leader in green real estate.

Pride currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Canada Green BuildingCouncil (CaGBC) and sits on the dean’s advisory council in the faculty of environment at the University of Waterloo.
