Provident, part of the Cricket Energy group of companies, specializes in providing electrical management systems and monitoring, individual metering and billing, consulting, boiler retrofits, lighting sensors, variable-frequency drives (VFDs) and carbon monoxide (CO) monitoring and control for high-rise residential condominium towers across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Trilliant will deploy ‘intelligent’ mesh networking equipment, metering technology and an application Platform as a Service (aPaaS), which are expected to reduce Provident’s overhead costs going forward.

“By leveraging our relationship with Trilliant, we expect to provide cost-effective and environmentally responsible means for managing our customers’ utility services,” says David Hamilton, president of Provident.

“Provident is experiencing tremendous year-on-year growth and we look forward to building on that success with further technology and third-party logistics (3PL) services,” says Steven Lupo, senior vice-president (SVP) of supply chain management for Trilliant.
