Provident to deploy Trilliant SecureMesh for GTA condo towers
January 3, 2019 – Provident Energy Management, based in Concord, Ont., has chosen to deploy and monetize Trilliant’s SecureMesh neighbourhood area network (NAN) platform for submetering installations.

Provident, part of the Cricket Energy group of companies, specializes in providing electrical management systems and monitoring, individual metering and billing, consulting, boiler retrofits, lighting sensors, variable-frequency drives (VFDs) and carbon monoxide (CO) monitoring and control for high-rise residential condominium towers across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Trilliant will deploy ‘intelligent’ mesh networking equipment, metering technology and an application Platform as a Service (aPaaS), which are expected to reduce Provident’s overhead costs going forward.
“By leveraging our relationship with Trilliant, we expect to provide cost-effective and environmentally responsible means for managing our customers’ utility services,” says David Hamilton, president of Provident.
“Provident is experiencing tremendous year-on-year growth and we look forward to building on that success with further technology and third-party logistics (3PL) services,” says Steven Lupo, senior vice-president (SVP) of supply chain management for Trilliant.
