April 15, 2022 – Gregory Leng, creator of RETScreen Clean Energy Management Software platform, has offered a sneak peek at the new EnergyPlus connector they have created for RETScreen’s Feasibility Analysis module.

“You will be able to do your hourly energy simulations in EnergyPlus and automatically link the output files with RETScreen,” says Leng. “This will enable you to use the various other tools in RETScreen, such as the Cost, Emissions, Finance, Risk, Data, Analytics, Report and Dashboard worksheets.”

Any RETScreen images, photos, screen captures, etc., in this Information Portal are used with permission of RETScreen.

You are then able to present your EnergyPlus outputs with RETScreen analysis to clients or other decision-makers in one of the 37 different languages available in RETScreen.

The new EnergyPlus connector will be included as part of RETScreen v.9, coming this October, Leng added.
