Bosch introduces Greentherm 9000 condensing tankless water heaters
February 1, 2017 - Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. has a new line of tankless gas condensing water heaters: the Greentherm 9000 series, which offers nine models for high-efficiency domestic hot water in residential or commercial applications.

The series features an energy factor of 0.99 with thermal efficiency of 100%, according to Bosch, which is “the highest in the industry for condensing gas water heaters”. This series also achieves temperature stability of plus- or minus- two degrees Fahrenheit through the active bypass and operates between 9000 and 199,000 Btu.
Each model offers conversion to LPG using the included manifold injector kit, which eliminates stocking both LP and NG units, the company notes.
Installation permits up to 60 ft of venting with 2-in. pipe, or 280 ft of venting with 3-in. pipe, using a wide range of venting material options, and the products require no dedicated return line.
The series delivers water supply temperature to 180°F and systems also can be cascaded up to 24 units to achieve flow rates of more than 200 gallons per minute, Bosch says.
