November 11, 2016 - Engineered and patented by Synavax, Energy Protect is a water-based clear coating that can be applied over existing structures to provide thermal insulation for energy savings, mould resistance and UV resistance.

Customers using this patented technology report saving between 20-40% on their heating and cooling energy costs, Synavax claims. Independent testing found the coating provided a reduction of heat transfer of 34.8% at the standard 3-coat coverage, the company adds.

This technology can be used on walls (interior or exterior), ceilings, ductwork, skylights, attics, etc., and the coating can be used over “nearly any building surface type”, including wood, brick, painted walls, drywall, concrete and stucco.
