The morning session was an opportunity for a select group of policy-makers, municipal leaders, energy experts and academics from Canada, Germany and the United States to exchange ideas and learn from leading communities that have successfully adopted, among other things:
• Energy conservation programs, including low-energy use communities
• Energy-efficient building standards and initiatives
Today’s workshop was the last in a series of four workshops that have taken place over the course of the two-year dialogue, which were organized by the Environmental Public Policy Research Centre at the Freie Universitat Berlin.
