Dry hands in 12 seconds with Dyson Airblade V hand dryer

May 15, 2014 - Dyson engineers say they have concentrated Dyson Airblade technology without compromising drying performance. Using the Dyson digital motor V4, the Airblade V hand dryer is 60% smaller than the original, yet claims to still dry hands quickly and efficiently in 12 seconds. According to the company, the hand dryer uses two sheets of 675kph air, angled at 115°, to separate hands and scrape off water like a windshield wiper. It also claims to dry 17 pairs of hands for the price of a single paper towel.
