Now, the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) says the time has come to revise ISO 50001 to “ensure it remains a useful tool”. This week, experts from nearly 30 countries are meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, to discuss and advance the revision work, ISO says. The event is hosted by the Swedish Standards Institute (SIS), the ISO member for country. They will also be highlighting the value of energy management systems and sharing experiences and good practices.
