Litetronics expands LED troffer retrofit-kit with 2×2 model
March 6, 2015 – A new 2-in. x 2-in. LED retrofit kit expands Litetronics’ patent-pending system that converts conventional T8 or T12 U-shape fluorescent ceiling troffers to more energy-efficient linear LEDs.

The single three-lamp kit consumes 32 watts and has a rated operating life of 85,000 hours per unit. Installation is no sweat, the company claims: after removing lamps, ballast cover and ballast, the kit “pops” into the existing troffer housing. It is permanently held in place with the Litetronics “rare-earth” magnetized system.
The kit is suited for 120v to 277v systems. It is UL and DLC (Design Light Consortium) listed, RoHS compliant and available in 3500K, 4000K or 5000K colour temperatures. It is also backed by a seven year factory warranty.
