Harmonizer rebranded as SmartGate
December 14, 2018 – Vancouver-based Legend Power Systems recently rebranded its Harmonizer voltage management system as the SmartGate.

“We think this name more accurately conveys the value of this product, which puts a building owner in control of the electrical environment, provides instant cost savings and lowers environmental impact,” says Mark Petersen, Legend’s vice-president (VP) of engineering. “Positioned in the electrical room to manage all power in a facility, SmartGate is a platform from which the future of power management will be hosted.”
The company claims SmartGate delivers voltage management reductions of 3% to 8% by eliminating ‘overvoltage.’ Eight versions are currently available to serve buildings’ needs between 600 and 4,000 A. Recent additions include remote monitoring and key power analytics and more features are expected in the future.
